VP Shared Services; $180-200k+bonus and equity

Description:

Exciting opportunity to join a growing tech organization in newly created position of VP of Shared Services. Hybrid schedule in a highly visible role.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Champion a strong Operations team. Ensure team is working cohesively and productively to perform daily operational accounting activities in a timely manner. Oversee employee productivity, training and growth. Foster a trusting, inclusive and productive environment.
• Identify, develop and implement improved processes. Introduce automated procedures for more efficient work flow.
• Partner with senior business leaders and key stakeholders to provide information and metrics that impact daily accounting for the organization.
• Responsible for the training of the Customer Support organization. Work to simplify the and enhance the customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with all Internal and External compliance controls. Position may also be responsible for SOX compliance related responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualified Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Strong understanding of data analysis, KPIs and reporting.
• Previous strong background of process improvement and operational guidelines.
• Experience with performance evaluation metrics.
• Developing budgets and business plan experience a plus.
